Welcome to 2009!

It’s been a big festive season for Ash and we hope you are all recovering nicely from family dinners, celebrations, festivals or whatever your end of year vibe is. First up we must thank all the listeners that voted for Ash in Triple J Roots n’ All’s Top 10 Roots tunes from 2008 – We are very pleased to report that Fish Out Of Water was NUMBER ONE!! And then, ‘Devil Called me a Liar’ was named one of Beat’s Best Australian Singles of 2008 – YEAH!

Now, because everyone likes a winner, Ash has a special job for you all – we need your votes for Ash in the JJJ Hottest 100. Ash has two songs to choose between, Breakout and Devil Called me a Liar, so we’re thinking you guys should get over there before voting closes on 18th Jan - just go here, it’s really easy and it’ll give you a pleasantly warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Big Tour News

So with all this cool stuff going on, Ash and the boys have been out absolutely smashing it at Woodford, Falls and Southbound Festivals. You guys have been really rocking, the best ever crowds – and there’s still Sunset Sounds to go, Brisbane get ready! Ash is also touring with the Black Keys and Gomez, and is doing a couple of his own shows at a few select coastal towns in NSW as well – and all this month!
